 Media Art and Animation Resource List

• Jellycam – A great, free tool for Stop-Motion Animation. It works with any simple webcam and is very easy to use.
• Flipboom – A very low cost animation tool (usually around $20 – $30) that has the animation beginner creating their own animated short in no time. It’s made by one the leading animation program companies – Toon Boom.
• Comicboom – This is another low cost program from Toon Boom that young artists can use to create their own comic strips for posting online or print.
• Blogger – This is where anyone can get a free blog/website. The tools are easy to learn if you already use word-processing programs like Microsoft Word. It is a great way for students to start posting artwork, stories, videos or other media projects to share with friends and for class projects.
